Lot 869: A Four-Piece Rattan Conservatory Furniture Suite
A four-piece rattan conservatory furniture suite comprising a two-seater sofa, two armchairs, and a square side table. The frames are constructed from bundled and bent rattan poles, featuring high sweeping curved arms and lattice-work decorative side and back panels. The suite is fitted with loose, removable seat and back cushions. The upholstery is a printed fabric with a patchwork-style pattern of squares and rectangles containing scrolling foliate and damask motifs in shades of terracotta, rust, gold, and beige. The side table features a rattan frame with matching lattice sides and an inset glass top above an open storage compartment. Small white auction lot stickers bearing the numbers 869 and 870 are present on the frames.
