Lot 1: Jentique Mid-Century Modern Teak Two-Piece Display Cabinet
A British mid-century modern teak highboard manufactured by Jentique, circa 1960s/70s. This two-piece unit consists of an upper glazed display section resting upon a sideboard base. The upper section is configured with an open top shelf above two sliding glass doors, each featuring circular recessed finger pulls. The interior of the display area contains a single adjustable glass shelf. The lower sideboard base is designed with a single cupboard door on the left-hand side, opening to reveal internal storage with a wooden shelf. To the right is a bank of three drawers, each fitted with small circular wooden pulls. The uppermost drawer is a specialised cutlery drawer, lined with green felt and divided into three compartments with wooden inserts. The cabinet is finished in teak veneers with solid teak edges and handles. A circular manufacturer’s label is affixed to the interior, bearing the inscription JENTIQUE REPRODUCTION CABINET MAKERS OF REAL WOOD.
