Lot 276: An Assortment of Decorative Ceramics, Jar Candles, and Household Items including Villeroy and Boch
An assortment of various household and decorative items. The collection includes a rectangular white ceramic tray featuring a side notch, bearing the base marks Villeroy and Boch, anno 1748, and Luxembourg. Further ceramic pieces comprise a scalloped-edge dish with purple floral sprig decoration, a small bowl with oriental-style blue, white, and orange patterned decoration, and a white mug illustrated with a vintage road steamer. The lot also contains multiple jar candles in various colours including blue, green, and red, a quantity of small wooden display easels contained within a plastic bag, and a small boxed figurine depicting the nursery rhyme Hey Diddle Diddle with a cow jumping over a crescent moon and a cat with a fiddle. Accompanying items include various paper ephemera and a cardboard shipping box with a Royal Mail label.
Condition report:
The items exhibit varying conditions. Some pieces, such as the boxed figurine and some candles, appear to be in unused condition. Several ceramic items show visible surface marks, dust, and residue consistent with storage. The wooden easels are contained within their original plastic packaging. General wear and handling marks are present across the collection.
