Lot 385: A Collection of Vintage Ceramics and Glassware including Duchess Bone China and Art Deco Style Items
An assortment of vintage decorative objects and dinnerware. The collection features several bone china plates in the June Bouquet pattern, decorated with pink roses and foliage with gilded rims. One plate bears a green underglaze mark for Duchess, Bone China, England. The lot includes a large amber-coloured pressed glass bowl with a geometric Art Deco style pattern and a clear glass vase with vertical ribbing. Also present are two painted ceramic wall plaques depicting a ballerina and a soldier, several white ceramic architectural finger plates, and a clear glass tray with a textured geometric design. The collection further includes a white wire lampshade frame and a circular brass-coloured metal fitting. The items are accompanied by a handwritten label indicating mixed vintage and Art Deco glass.
Condition report:
The collection shows signs of age and use throughout. There is visible wear to the gilding on the china plates. Minor surface scratches and shelf wear are present across the glass and ceramic items.
