Lot 386: An Assortment of Miscellaneous Household Items, Ceramics, and Decorative Objects
A varied collection of household and decorative items including several ceramic pieces. The ceramics comprise a teacup and saucer with floral motifs and gilded scalloped rims, a domed lidded pot with figural decoration, a bowl with a painted landscape scene, and two grey cylindrical storage jars. Metal and mechanical items include a brass-cased clock with a white dial and Roman numerals, and a wooden shoe tree featuring a metal screw adjustment with a T-handle. Further items include a green glazed ceramic seal figurine, a set of painted interlocking animal figures, nested bowls, a pink mesh bath sponge, and several small electrical components including a night light and a plug adapter. The objects are displayed in and around a cardboard produce box on a green textile surface.
Condition report:
The items exhibit signs of wear consistent with age and domestic use. There is visible tarnishing to the brass clock case. The wooden shoe tree shows surface scuffs and age-related wear to the metal components. Minor surface scratches, general wear, and small areas of glaze abrasion are present across the ceramic and plastic items.
