Lot 400: A Set of Six Vintage Babycham Coupe Glasses with Yellow Deer Motif
A set of six vintage Babycham branded champagne coupe or saucer-style glasses. Each glass is constructed from clear glass featuring a short, multi-faceted stem and a circular foot. The bowl of each glass is decorated with an applied decal of the iconic Babycham mascot, a stylized yellow chamois deer wearing a blue ribbon bow. The rim of each bowl is finished with a gold-gilded edge. The circular foot of each glass features a printed blue mark in an arc reading BABYCHAM. These glasses were produced as promotional barware for the British sparkling perry brand and are characteristic of mid-century design.
Condition report:
The glasses are in good vintage condition. The glass remains clear and bright throughout the set with no visible chips, cracks, or significant scratches. The chamois deer decals are well-preserved with vibrant colours. The gold-gilded rims show light, age-related thinning and wear in some areas. The blue printed branding on the bases is crisp and legible.
