Buyer's Premium:

A diverse collection of decorative objects across two shelf tiers, including glassware, ceramics, and a timepiece. The top tier features a trio of items comprising two clear cut glass bowls and a large pitcher. One bowl, bearing lot sticker 472, exhibits a deep-cut diamond and cross-hatch pattern, while the second bowl features a central starburst and fan motif surrounded by diamond-cut panels. The pitcher is designed with a panelled body and horizontal banding. The lower tier includes a large ceramic potpourri bowl with a cream-coloured rim, resting upon a red transferware plate with a floral border. Inside the bowl is a circular souvenir ceramic ashtray inscribed with RISTORANTE RUPE TARPEA ROMA, featuring a polychrome transfer of grapes and vine leaves. This section also contains a stack of assorted ceramic plates, a square turquoise-coloured glass ashtray, and a heart-shaped ceramic dish with floral decoration. Positioned to the right is a wooden-cased mantel clock with a circular dial and Roman numerals. The lot further includes a glassware suite (Lot 441) comprising a square-bodied decanter with a diamond-cut pattern and a matching globular faceted stopper, a flared cylindrical glass vase with fan and starburst cutting, and a large clear glass bowl with a relief-moulded pattern of grapes and leaves. Contained within this bowl is a secondary glass vessel decorated with purple and amber circular thumbprint designs. Two additional cut glass bowls of varying sizes complete the collection.

Condition report:

The items appear to be in good used condition with surface dust and wear consistent with age and display. The faceted edges of the cut glass items should be inspected for minor chips. The clock mechanism is untested.
