Lot 443: Late 19th or Early 20th Century Copper Jam Pan with Wrought Iron Handle
An antique copper pot of cylindrical form featuring a rolled rim, typically used for jam-making or as a general utilitarian vessel. The pot is constructed with a heavy, flat wrought iron handle that is secured to the sides by two large rivets at each terminal. This example lacks visible manufacturer’s marks or stamps on the metal surfaces. It bears two modern adhesive labels with the handwritten inscription Vendor 1929 / Old Jam Pot and an auction lot tag numbered 443. The interior of the pot shows evidence of former tinning.
