Lot 434: A Collection of Pressed Glass Bowls including Geometric and Floral Patterns
A collection of assorted decorative and functional bowls, primarily of pressed glass construction. The grouping includes items attributed to Anchor Hocking, notably a large clear glass bowl in the Star of David pattern, featuring a scalloped rim and complex geometric pressed motifs. Also present is a pair of clear glass bowls with diamond-cut pressed patterns and starburst-cut bases, in the style of the Early American Prescut range. The assortment further comprises a smaller clear glass bowl with vertical ribbing, a decorative pink glass bowl with moulded and frosted rose and leaf motifs in high relief, and a deep black opaque bowl, possibly hyalith glass or glazed ceramic. One bowl carries a modern paper auction label from HCP Auctions South West marked Lot 434.
