Lot 554: A Trio of Decorative Glass and Crystal Miniature Perfume Bottles
A trio of miniature perfume bottles featuring varied decorative styles and materials. The first item is a faceted lead crystal bottle of multi-faceted form, showing prismatic light effects and iridescent reflections, complete with a spherical faceted crystal stopper. The second is a hand-blown iridescent art glass bottle of bulbous form, featuring pulled white feather or leaf trailed decoration against a pearlescent ground, fitted with a clear glass stopper with a flared finial. The third is a jewelled perfume bottle in the Art Deco style, comprising a frosted glass body held within a silver-toned metal mount and pedestal base, both encrusted with rows of clear faceted rhinestones, and finished with a faceted crystal stopper. No clear maker’s marks or signatures are visible; while circular impressions are present on the base of one bottle, the markings are not clearly legible.
Condition report:
The items appear to be in good overall condition. There are no visible chips, cracks, or significant losses to the glass or the rhinestone elements. Minor surface wear consistent with age and display.
