Lot 1026: VISIQ Bubble Foot Massager
This mid-20th century blanket chest is constructed from oak and designed in the Tudor revival style. The front elevation features three recessed panels, each decorated with relief-carved linenfold motifs. The primary timber used is oak, with the lid and interior panels exhibiting the distinctive medullary rays associated with quarter-sawn wood. The chest has a simple rectangular form and stands on four block feet that are a continuation of the corner stiles. The flat lid opens to reveal a single deep storage compartment, supported by a gold-tone metal safety chain stay on the interior right. The lid is secured by two modern black-finished metal butt hinges. No manufacturer marks or labels are present on the piece. It bears a pink circular adhesive tag and a white auction lot tag numbered 1029.
