Lot 1027: A Pair of Contemporary Industrial-Style Metal Mobile Cabinets
A Jacobean Revival style court cupboard sideboard constructed from oak with a dark-stained finish. The upper section comprises a recessed back panel below a scalloped frieze, supported by two large bulbous cup-and-cover turned columns, and features two small tiered side shelves. The base unit contains three frieze drawers, each decorated with carved scrolling foliate motifs and fitted with turned wooden knobs. Below these are two cupboard doors with arched panelled detailing, characteristic of the Tudor and Jacobean Revival styles. The doors are mounted with metal butterfly hinges.
