Lot 28: A Collection of Vintage Metric Socket Sets and Workshop Tools including Elora and Tool Star
This collection of workshop tools comprises several socket sets and specialized automotive hand tools from European and Japanese manufacturers. The primary set is a professional-grade Elora 1/2 inch square drive socket set of German manufacture, constructed from chrome vanadium steel. Components include a reversible ratchet handle cast with Elora 770 L 1/2, a speed brace crank handle, two extension bars, a universal joint, and a sliding T-bar with a head stamped Elora Chrome Vanadium Germany. The set contains approximately nineteen sockets in various sizes. A small plaque on the interior lid reads Patent Applied For. The second set is a Tool Star Model No. 402/RB 15-piece metric 1/2 inch square drive socket and attachment set, made in Japan from chrome vanadium steel alloy.
