Lot 729: A Collection of Folio Society Volumes. London: The Folio Society, mid-20th Century.
This collection of Konica photographic equipment centres on a Konica TC-X 35mm single lens reflex (SLR) camera body. Constructed with a black polycarbonate chassis and exterior, this model was the first SLR produced with an all-plastic body and the first Konica to include the DX-coding system, denoted by the red DX logo on the top plate. The camera is offered as a body only and is fitted with a black plastic body cap. The serial number is typically located on the baseplate and is not visible in the images provided.
Included in the lot is a Konica-branded blue nylon soft-sided camera bag, featuring a multi-coloured rainbow stripe and blue branding. Also present is a Konica Cleaning Set in its original, unopened blister packaging, which contains a grey blower brush, a bottle of cleaning fluid, and cotton swabs. The packaging is marked as being made for Konica UK Ltd. Several rolls of vintage 35mm colour print film are included, comprising one roll of Konica SR-G 100 (36 exposures) and two rolls of FotoStop 200 ISO film (24 exposures).
