Lot 746: A Collection of Vintage Kelsboro Ware Miniature Ceramic Character Jugs and Wade Whimsies
A collection of vintage hand-painted military miniatures attributed to Britains Ltd. These figures are cast from lead or white metal and represent various historical regiments. The assortment includes a group of infantry in white colonial-style uniforms with black detailing and pith helmets, a group in traditional British red tunics and dark trousers, and a third group in dark blue uniforms with red headwear. The figures are depicted in static poses, primarily marching or standing at attention. Each figure is mounted on an integral oval or circular base, finished in either green or yellow paint. No manufacturer marks are visible on the underside of the bases. The lot is accompanied by a modern auction lot tag from HGP Auctions South West.
