Lot 747: A Collection of Vintage Britains Hand Painted Toy Soldiers
A collection of vintage brooches and pins of varied styles and materials. The group includes an Italian-style oval micro-mosaic brooch featuring a floral motif with pink, red, and yellow blossoms on a dark green ground, set within a gold-tone metal frame with a twisted wire border. Also present is a large oval brooch set with a polished black cabochon, possibly jet or glass, in a gold-tone rope-twist frame. The collection further features a circular wreath-style brooch in silver-tone metal with a textured braided design, accented with six rectangular peach-toned translucent cabochons. Another item is an oval blue and white millefiori glass brooch with a central starburst pattern set in a scalloped gold-tone frame. Additionally, the lot contains a small silver-tone brooch with a black and white monochrome floral pattern under a clear glass dome and a small gold-tone pin set with a black cabochon within an openwork scroll-work frame. All items feature pin-back fastenings to the reverse.
