Lot 909: A Collection of Cut Glass and Lead Crystal Tableware including Decanters and Serving Bowls
A mid-20th-century sideboard in the Queen Anne revival style, closely resembling the Georgian Court collection by Ethan Allen. The carcase is constructed with mahogany and cherry wood veneers over solid wood components. The layout features a central bank of three graduated drawers, flanked by two single-door cupboards with moulded rectangular panels. The drawers are fitted with cast brass swan-neck handles on shaped backplates, and the cupboard doors feature decorative brass drop-handle pulls on ornate backplates. The sideboard is supported by four cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. A pink circular sticker with the number 32 is adhered to the right-hand cupboard door.
