A Regency style fireplace collection consisting of a companion tool set and a pair of matching fire dogs. The set is primarily constructed from cast and polished brass, while the fire tool shafts are made of a darker metal, likely iron or steel. The companion set includes a stand, a shovel, tongs, and a poker, all unified by ornate cast brass handles in the form of an eagle’s claw clutching a sphere. The stand features a central upright with a matching finial and a base with a decorative hammered or pebbled texture within a raised gallery rail. The matching andirons feature scrolling supports and cabriole legs ending in stylised paw feet, topped with claw and ball finials that mirror the fire tools.
