Lot 131: A Vintage Lister Single-Cylinder Stationary Engine for Restoration
This lot consists of a vintage single-cylinder stationary engine, identified by embossed casting marks on the block as a Lister, consistent with the Model D or similar variants produced in the early-to-mid 20th century. The unit is primarily of cast-iron construction and retains vestiges of its original green paint finish. The engine is presented in a partially disassembled state, lacking the cylinder head, pushrods, and rocker gear. Featured components include a large cast-iron flywheel with an integrated directional arrow, a chain-driven Wico magneto, and a governor linkage. Raised casting marks visible on the engine block include the name LISTER, the vertical digits 3002, and the code 415 T. The internal cylinder bore and valve ports are currently exposed.
