Lot 52: A Trio of Porro-Prism Field Binoculars including Praktica and Tasco Models
This lot comprises three pairs of porro-prism field binoculars of varying age and manufacture. The first pair is by Praktica, marked to the prism housing with the maker name and model CNS10X50, indicating 10x magnification and a 50mm objective lens. These binoculars feature a textured black rubberised coating and a large central focusing wheel, accompanied by a padded black fabric carrying case with a shoulder strap. The second pair is a Tasco Model 312, with the right prism plate bearing the Tasco registered trademark, Fully Coated designation, and serial number T.T. NO. 7248. The left plate specifies 10X50 magnification and a field of view of 288ft at 1000 yards. They are finished in a black textured grip and housed in a black hard-shell case. The final pair is a compact, unmarked set with a textured black body and a thin neck strap, including one blue plastic objective lens cap.
