Lot 534: A Trio of Decorative Ceramic Tableware including a Myott Leaflet Pattern Plate and an Alfred Meakin Attributed Bowl
This lot features a Myott Staffordshire plate in the Leaflet pattern, characterised by its relief-moulded swirled rim and a transfer-printed central floral spray in autumnal tones of orange and brown. Also included is a deep vintage bowl with a scalloped rim and gilded edge, decorated with multicoloured floral sprigs; this item is attributed to Alfred Meakin according to an internal hand-written label. The third piece is a large oval earthenware serving platter decorated in a traditional Imari-inspired palette of cobalt blue, rust-orange, and ochre with floral motifs. All three items feature various hand-written labels from previous cataloguing. No manufacturer marks were visible on the base of these items at the time of cataloguing.
