Lot 533: A Collection of Vintage Utility Items including a Pyrene Junior Fire Extinguisher and a Tilley-style Pressure Lamp
This collection of vintage utility and household items includes a Pyrene Junior pump-action fire extinguisher, a Tilley-style paraffin pressure lamp, a ribbed aluminium thermos flask, and a galvanised metal hot water bottle or foot warmer. The Pyrene extinguisher features a chrome-plated finish with a T-handle pump. The pressure lamp consists of a weathered black metal hood, glass chimney, and a brass reservoir base with a wire handle. The thermos flask is constructed from ribbed aluminium and is fitted with a red plastic screw-top lid. The hot water bottle is of oval form in galvanised metal, featuring a central brass screw cap and a wire carrying handle.
