Lot 550: Three UK and SG 1967-1971 Coin Sets, Cupro-Nickel and Bronze
Three souvenir coin sets presented in original PVC wallets. The collection includes two Singapore New Coin Issue sets from the Board of Commissioners of Currency, Singapore, and one Britain’s First Decimal Coins set issued by the Royal Mint. The Singapore sets each contain six coins in denominations of $1, 50 cents, 20 cents, 10 cents, and 5 cents (cupro-nickel) and 1 cent (bronze). The UK set contains five coins comprising the 10p, 5p, 2p, 1p, and 1/2p denominations dated between 1968 and 1971. The Singapore sets are housed in red plastic folders embossed with the national coat of arms and the motto MAJULAH SINGAPURA. The British set is presented in a blue plastic wallet.
