Lot 650: A Trio of Cut Glass and Lead Crystal Decanters
This lot comprises three glass and lead crystal decanters, each complete with a matching stopper. The first is a lead crystal decanter of bulbous form, featuring deep diamond-cut decoration and vertical fluting at the neck base, finished with a faceted ball stopper. The second is a ship’s decanter of flared form with a broad base, decorated with an etched multi-masted sailing ship and vertical flute cuts, fitted with a disc-top stopper. The third is a lead crystal decanter of ovoid form, decorated with complex diamond and rosette cutting, a fluted neck, and a coordinating faceted stopper. The pieces are likely of British manufacture, dating from the mid-to-late 20th century. A white rectangular label on the centre decanter is marked for HCP Auctions South West, Lot 650.
