Lot 668: An Assortment of Decorative Art Glass including a Cobalt Blue Bottle Stopper and Spun-Glass Ornaments
An assortment of decorative art glass items. The lot includes a contemporary wine bottle stopper featuring a cobalt blue glass orb with internal gold-coloured inclusions, in the style of Murano glass. The orb is mounted on a tapered chrome-finished metal base with two black rubber gaskets and is presented in a navy blue gift box with a white satin-effect lining. Also included are several clear spun-glass or lace-glass pieces. These comprise a decorative figurine stand with a rectangular frame topped with a multi-coloured glass bird in red and yellow tones, featuring two suspended spun-glass baskets. The collection is completed by a matching pair of decorative glass objects, each with a clear twisted stem and textured spun-glass circular bases and tops. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on any of the items.
