Lot 765: Mid-century Painted Four-Drawer Chest of Drawers with Wooden Block Handles
A mid-20th century utility style chest of drawers, featuring four full-width drawers. The carcass is constructed from painted timber and wood composite, finished in an off-white paint. Each drawer is fitted with two rectangular beveled wooden block pull handles, painted to match the body. The drawer interiors are made from a light-coloured secondary timber and show simple mid-century construction; one drawer retains a blue and white patterned paper liner. The chest rests on a short plinth base. No original manufacturer marks are present. A contemporary auction lot tag for Lot 765 is attached to the lower front.
