Lot 781: A Late 20th Century Stained Hardwood Wall-Hanging Display Shelf
A wall-hanging shelving unit constructed from dark-stained hardwood. The piece features a decorative arched top rail with a scalloped edge and small incised foliate carvings. The side panels are similarly shaped with a gentle scalloped profile. The unit contains three fixed tiers of shelving and is designed with an open back to sit flush against a wall. It is fitted with metal hanging brackets. The design and decorative motifs are consistent with display racks produced in the late 20th century, notably those manufactured for collectors’ series such as the Lenox Orchard Jam and Jelly jar collection.
