Lot 811: Mid-Century Modern Danish Teak Two-Tier Tea Trolley
A mid-century modern two-tier tea trolley or serving cart constructed from teak and teak veneer. The piece features a top tier with raised gallery edges and integral cut-out handles at each end. Below is a secondary rectangular shelf for additional storage. The trolley is supported by four tapered cylindrical legs, each terminating in a swivel caster with white wheels. The underside bears a circular black and white label for Danish Furnituremakers’ Control, a quality certification mark used by the association of Danish furniture manufacturers for exported goods during the mid-20th century.
