Lot 846: A Late 20th Century Wood Veneer Wall Mounted Media Rack with a Collection of CDs and DVDs
A wall-mounted media storage unit dating from the late 20th century, finished in a dark wood veneer with a prominent grain resembling rosewood. The rectangular case is constructed with five fixed internal compartments specifically sized for the storage of CD jewel cases and DVD cases. The front aperture is framed with a decorative reeded moulding. Although currently oriented vertically, the piece is designed for horizontal wall mounting. The rack is sold with an assortment of media comprising approximately 60 to 80 CDs and several DVDs. Notable titles within the collection include The Hits of 1962, Spice Girls – Spice, Classical Beatles, and Paul Simon – Graceland. No maker’s marks or manufacturer labels are visible on the external surfaces of the unit.
