Lot 900: A Mid-Century Teak Chest of Drawers from the Nathan Squares Range
A mid-century modern teak wood chest of drawers, from the Squares range by Nathan Furniture. The unit features a vertical bank of four drawers to the left side, each fitted with original circular, tapered wooden pull knobs. The right side is designed with a decorative facade consisting of two larger sections with recessed geometric grid panelling, a signature feature of the Nathan Squares series produced during the 1960s and 1970s. The piece is constructed with teak veneers over a secondary carcase, and the drawer boxes exhibit machine-cut dovetail joints.
