A commemorative bell-shaped whisky decanter produced for Bell’s Old Scotch Whisky to mark the 60th birthday of HM Queen Elizabeth II. The vessel is crafted from glazed white ceramic and features a central transfer-printed portrait of the Queen within a decorative circular border. The border is inscribed with the text TO COMMEMORATE THE 60th BIRTHDAY OF HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II and is accompanied by a ribbon dated APRIL 21st 1986. On the reverse, the decanter displays a polychrome heraldic coat of arms depicting two rampant lions flanking a shield with a bell emblem and a motto ribbon below. The design is finished with gilded bands at the foot and neck, with the neck band embossed with the name BELL’S in relief. The original stopper and seal appear to be present under a white paper label.
