Lot 34: Two decorative items comprising a leaded stained glass snail suncatcher and a Queen Elizabeth II commemorative ceramic dish
This lot features two decorative objects, including a leaded glass panel and a ceramic commemorative piece. The first item is a stained glass suncatcher in the form of a snail, constructed from textured glass segments in shades of emerald green and turquoise-teal for the shell, with a body and head made of translucent amber glass. The construction utilises traditional lead cames with soldered joints and includes two wire loops for hanging. The reverse bears a white adhesive label from HCP Auctions South West, marked Lot 034. The second item is a small circular ceramic dish featuring a central transfer-printed portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in formal attire, including a tiara, pearl jewellery, and a blue sash. The central image is framed by an ornate border featuring blue scrollwork and the national floral emblems of the United Kingdom: the rose, thistle, and shamrock.
Snail height: approximately 18cm
Dish diameter: approximately 11.5cm.
