Lot 176: A Pair of Weathered Cast Stone Garden Bench Supports with Lion Masks
A pair of weathered cast stone garden bench supports or seat ends. Each support is constructed of rectangular block-form reconstituted stone, featuring a relief-moulded classical lion mask with a stylised mane and paws to the sides. The items are designed with flat top and bottom surfaces for structural use as plinths or supports for a garden bench or seat. One piece bears an adhesive label from HCP Auctions South West (Lot 176) and a second label with the handwritten number 5677. No manufacturer marks or signatures are visible.
