Lot 287: A Collection of Royal Doulton English Translucent China Dinnerware in the Westwood Pattern
This collection of dinnerware is produced by Royal Doulton in the Westwood pattern, reference number T.C. 1025. The pieces are crafted from English Translucent China and feature a transfer-printed design of autumnal foliage, including stylised leaves and small flowers in a palette of brown, tan, grey, and soft yellow. The assortment includes a large circular serving platter, multiple plates of various sizes, and a serving dish. The underside of the pieces bears a printed backstamp in black featuring a lion and crown crest above a circular emblem with the text MADE IN ENGLAND and ROYAL DOULTON ENGLAND. Further inscriptions include ENGLISH TRANSLUCENT CHINA, WESTWOOD, T.C. 1025, COPYRIGHT, and DOULTON & CO. LIMITED.
