Lot 288: A Mid-20th Century Frameless Bevelled Edge Octagonal Wall Mirror
A mid-20th-century frameless wall mirror of octagonal form with chamfered corners and a wide bevelled edge. The mirror plate is mounted onto a wooden or composite backing board and is secured by metal clips, with several featuring decorative clear glass rosette studs. This style of mirror is characteristic of British mid-century interior design from approximately 1930 to 1950. No maker’s marks, stamps, or signatures are visible on the front or edges. A white paper lot sticker with the numerals 288 is adhered to the top left corner of the mirror face.
