Lot 443: A Collection of Assembled Cardboard Model Railway Buildings and Scenery in the Style of Superquick and Metcalfe
This lot features an assortment of pre-assembled OO/HO scale model railway buildings and landscape accessories. The items are constructed from printed cardboard, closely resembling the kits manufactured by Superquick and Metcalfe. The collection showcases a variety of traditional British-style architecture. The upper shelf includes a station platform with two station buildings and a large grey-clad engine or goods shed with light blue doors. The lower shelf contains a diverse range of structures, including a large brick manor-style building, multiple cottages with both stone and brick-effect finishes, small shops, and auxiliary outbuildings. One small cream-coloured building is printed with the G.W.R. initials for the Great Western Railway.
