Lot 465: A Collection of twelve model tractors in the style of the Hachette Tractor Collection
This lot comprises twelve miniature model tractors, attributed to the Hachette Tractor Collection part-work series. Each model is constructed with a die-cast metal body featuring plastic components and rubber or plastic tyres. The models are presented in individual clear plastic display cases mounted on characteristic lime green plastic bases. The assortment includes various historic agricultural models such as a blue tractor with red spoked wheels resembling a Fordson E27N, an orange tractor in the style of an Allis-Chalmers, a maroon and cream vintage-style tractor, and a red modern-style tractor with cream wheels. The models are static display pieces produced in approximately 1:43 scale. Some cases bear adhesive labels from a previous auction or pricing, including a lot number 465 and a price mark of £9.
