A collection of five assorted ceramic tablewares including platters and serving bowls, predominantly from English manufacturers. The group includes a J. & G. Meakin Sunshine pattern oval platter with a wide maroon border decorated with gilded foliate and scroll motifs and a gilded rim. An S. Hancock & Sons Coronaware serving bowl features a scalloped, subtly octagonal rim and a transfer-printed floral border in shades of orange, blue, and black. Also included is an oval platter decorated with an Imari-style floral border in orange and navy blue. One round plate with a fluted rim is identified as the Leaflet pattern by Myott Staffordshire, featuring a transfer-printed orange floral spray. The final item is an Alfred Meakin porcelain bowl with a scalloped rim and a delicate border of pink and yellow flowers. These attributions are based on accompanying labels and visual research.
