Lot 479: A Trio of Decorative Glass Bowls including Opaque Black and Pressed Clear Examples
A trio of assorted decorative glass bowls. The collection comprises an opaque black glass circular dish with a polished, reflective finish; a moulded clear glass bowl featuring frosted sections and raised pink floral and foliate motifs, resembling the Oneida Southern Garden pattern, with a wavy scalloped rim; and a larger clear pressed glass bowl in the style of the L.E. Smith Hobstar pattern, featuring a starburst motif to the base and deep geometric hobnail and diamond-cut style patterns to the body, finished with a scalloped edge. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on any of the pieces. A small paper lot label marked 479 is present in the foreground.
