Lot 513: Large Tiffany Style Stained Glass Floral Pendant Lamp Shade
A large leadlight stained glass pendant lamp shade of dome form, constructed using the copper-foil technique. The main body consists of cream-coloured opalescent glass rectangular panels arranged in a geometric grid. The lower perimeter features a decorative frieze depicting pink flowers with red centres and green foliage, punctuated by stylised floral bud motifs in red and green glass at regular intervals. The glass segments are joined with lead solder lines finished with a dark patina. The shade is topped with a flared bronze-effect metal cap terminating in an integral hanging hook. A white rectangular auction lot sticker numbered 513 is adhered to the metal cap.
