Lot 514: Large Leaded Stained Glass Domed Lampshade with Grape and Foliate Frieze
A large Tiffany-style domed stained glass lampshade, constructed using the copper foil technique with dark-patinated leaded seams. The upper dome consists of multiple irregular panels of cream-coloured marbled slag glass arranged in a mosaic style. The mid-section features a horizontal border of rectangular dark burgundy glass pieces. The lower edge is decorated with a repeating frieze depicting clusters of dark red and purple circular glass grapes amongst green leaf-shaped panels. The shade is finished at the apex with a raised cylindrical collar. An adhesive auction label is attached to the exterior surface.
