Lot 75: A Wrought Iron Pedestrian Gate Section
A black-painted wrought iron architectural panel, likely a pedestrian gate or a section of decorative railing. The construction consists of a square-section iron frame housing vertical spindles. These spindles are embellished with decorative C and S scrollwork motifs. The piece is characteristic of traditional British residential architectural metalwork. A white adhesive label is attached to the upper frame member, bearing the hand-written number 5677 and a printed lot number 074. A further hand-written reference 5677 is visible on the vertical side of the frame. No manufacturer stamps or foundry marks are evident.
