Lot 1086: An early 20th century Jacobean Revival carved oak sideboard
A Jacobean Revival sideboard constructed from dark-stained oak. The piece features two cupboard doors, each decorated with a central square panel containing a carved floral diamond motif. These are flanked by stiles featuring vertical gadrooned moulding. The unit incorporates a combination of drawers and cupboards, fitted with traditional brass H-hinges and circular brass backplate drop handles. The top surface and various ledges feature thumb-moulded edges. A turned finial or gallery post is visible at the top corner. The construction utilises solid oak with dark staining, consistent with Tudor and Jacobean revival furniture styles of the early 20th century.
