Lot 541: A Singer Model 720 Touch & Sew Sewing Machine and a Collection of Knitting Supplies
A vintage Singer Touch & Sew model 720 sewing machine, manufactured in Great Britain. The unit features a cream-coloured housing with a contrasting brown wood-effect control panel. The panel identifies the maker and model with the script Touch & Sew and the number 720. It includes the power lead and foot pedal fitted with a UK three-pin plug, as well as a black fabric carrying bag. Included in the lot is a collection of knitting materials, comprising a floral-patterned project bag, balls of yarn in blue, grey, and black, and a partially completed knitted garment in a striped pattern. A cardboard tube contains several pairs of knitting needles. One yarn label bears the text 50g NET AT STANDARD CONDITION IN ACCORDANCE WITH BS 984/1976.
