Lot 554: H. E. B., Landscape with Poplars and a Gran Torino Promotional Film Poster, Two Framed Works (Signed)
Two framed works comprising an original landscape painting and a promotional film poster. The landscape artwork, executed in pastel on paper, depicts a row of tall trees reflected in a body of water with a distant building, rendered in a soft impressionistic style. The work is initialled H E B in the lower right corner. The second item is a promotional Coming Soon poster for the 2008 film Gran Torino, featuring a black and white photograph of Clint Eastwood alongside the titular car. The poster includes the printed text CLINT EASTWOOD, GRAN TORINO, and COMING SOON. Both pieces are housed in matching dark-stained wooden frames featuring gilded inner slips.
