Lot 752: An Assortment of Wristwatches, Gilt Jewellery, and a Collection of Vintage Hotel Matchbooks
An assortment of wristwatches featuring a Sekonda quartz watch with a gold-tone case, cream dial with Roman numerals at 12 and 6 o’clock, and a black lizard-grain effect leather strap, housed in a branded blue presentation box. The collection includes a Constantin quartz watch with a polished silver-tone case and black leather strap, and a Louis Picard bracelet watch with an ornate, articulated gold-tone bracelet, currently housed in a non-original Ingersoll box. Also included is a black composite diver-style watch featuring a unidirectional rotating bezel and an accordion-style black rubber strap, along with a small gold-tone ladies’ watch. The lot further contains a pair of gold-tone cufflinks and an additional small jewellery item presented in a green and white box. Completing the lot is a collection of approximately twenty vintage matchbooks and matchboxes from various international hotels and businesses, including the Talland Bay Hotel, Sheraton, Nexus, and The Marmara Istanbul, all contained within a blue cloth-covered, satin-lined presentation case.
