Lot 759: An Assortment of Vintage Cut and Pressed Glass Tableware
A collection of approximately ten pieces of vintage glass tableware featuring various cut and pressed patterns. The grouping includes a large pedestal centrepiece bowl with a scalloped rim, a small pitcher with a loop handle and diamond-cut body, and a circular lidded trinket box with a star-cut lid. Other items include a small footed vase with an elongated neck, a glass shaker with a polished metal flip-top lid, a medium-sized footed compote with cross-hatch decoration, and several smaller vessels and dessert dishes. Several pieces exhibit the sharp edges and clarity characteristic of lead crystal. The items are decorated with traditional motifs such as starburst bases, diamond cross-hatching, and fan-shaped accents near the rims. A white rectangular adhesive label marked 13 is present on the largest bowl.
