This collection of studio stoneware tableware is by Broadstairs Pottery, Kent, operated by David and Catherine White. The pieces feature a speckled off-white glaze decorated with hand-applied concentric brown bands and horizontal bands of impressed geometric motifs, including interlocking circles and lozenge patterns. The set includes two large circular dinner plates, four small shallow condiment or side bowls, four twin-handled lug soup bowls with matching saucers, and three cylindrical mugs with loop handles. The base of the items bears the impressed maker mark reading BROADSTAIRS POTTERY.
