Lot 764: A Collection of Royal Worcester Herbs Pattern Porcelain Dinnerware
A collection of Royal Worcester fine porcelain tableware in the Worcester Herbs pattern. Each piece features transfer-printed botanical illustrations of culinary herbs, including Black Mustard, Rosemary, Feverfew, and Wild Thyme, accompanied by various insects and butterflies. The designs are finished with a green banded rim. The collection comprises approximately ten dinner plates, eight salad plates, ten side plates, and two cereal or soup bowls. The underside of each piece bears a brown printed Royal Worcester factory mark featuring a crown above four interlocking Ws with a central crescent containing the number 51, labelled Fine Porcelain and Made in England. Some pieces also feature an impressed number 45-00.
