Lot 899: Victorian Style Striped Upholstered Button-Back Nursing Chair
A Victorian-style upholstered nursing chair, also known as a slipper chair, characterised by its low-seated profile and tall backrest. The back is accented with four deep-set buttons and the upholstery consists of a striped fabric with alternating bands of muted blue and yellow. The chair is accompanied by a square brown faux-suede scatter cushion featuring a shaggy fringed border. The frame is supported on short, dark-stained wooden legs.
